Provided are a catalyst for selectively oxidizing carbon monoxide, a preparation method of the catalyst, a method of reducing the concentration of carbon monoxide using the catalyst, an apparatus for producing high concentration hydrogen-containing gas using the catalyst, and a fuel cell system comprising the catalyst. A catalyst for selectively oxidizing carbon monoxide comprises Ru and Pt supported on a support. The support includes an inorganic oxide comprising one or more selected from alumina, silica, zirconia, and titania. The Pt is H2Pt(OH)6 which is used as a Pt source and dipped into a basic solution. The basic solution is an aqueous NaOH solution. The catalyst is obtained by supporting Pt on the support after supporting Ru on the support. A system for the catalyst includes a water tank(1) and a water pump(2). |
