METHOD FOR DETECTING SIGNAL IN MIMO COMMUNICATION SYSTEM AND MIMO COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

A method for detecting signals in a MIMO(Multiple Input Multiple Output) communication system and a MIMO communication system are provided to correct a colored noise by performing an optimum signal detecting algorithm. A MIMO system includes receiving antennas(120-1~120-N), auto gain control parts(130-1~130-N), and quantization parts(140-1~140-N). The number of receiving antennas is more than the number of transmitting antennas. A gain of each auto gain control part is different. Symbols are transmitted through the transmitting antennas at the same time. The symbols are received through the receiving antennas. The received signals are inputted to a receiving signal processing block through a VGA(Variable Gain Amplifier). A signal detecting part(150) performs an optimum signal detecting algorithm based on a signal quantized in the quantization part.
