<p>An apparatus and a method for measuring suspended solids in an aeration tank are provided to prevent contamination of the light emitting and receiving parts due to the contact with waste water. An apparatus for measuring suspended solids in an aeration tank comprises a housing(110) with open bottom, a light-emitting part(120) which is installed inside the housing, avoiding contact the waste water, and emits light, a light-receiving part(130) in which the light which is emitted from the light-emitting part and reflected from suspended solids after collision enters, a float(300) to maintain the specific water level in the housing, and a refining device(200) for refining the vortex in the waste water and separating bubble.</p> |
