Provided is a steel sheet having an aluminum-based plating formed thereon and being excellent in the resistance to blackening and weldability which is free from the discoloration to black even after re-heating and can be prevented from being lowered in strength; and an explosion-preventing band using the steel sheet. An explosion-preventing band which comprises a steel sheet having an aluminum-based plating containing Al as a main component and comprising a steel sheet having a chemical composition, in mass %, that C: 0.005 % or less, N: 0.005 % or less, Si: 0.1 to 0.5 %, P: 0.1 % or less, S: 0.02 % or less, Mn: 1.05 to 2.0 mass %, sol Al: 1.0 % or less, and the balance: Fe and inevitable impurities, and can prevent the discoloration to black and the lowering of strength when it is re-heated to a temperature of 500 to 700°C. |
