APPARATUS AND METHOD EXTRACTION QOS PARAMETER IN MOBILE EQUIPMENT

A method and an apparatus for extracting a parameter in a mobile communications device while reducing the load of a software or a hardware are provided to secure the QOS of the application by setting a wireless data resource link suitable for the QOS of the application. A filtering operation of an SIP(Session Initiation Protocol) packet is performed by monitoring all packets received from a terminal device(301). A real time service application is performed in the terminal device. A QOS parameter is extracted from a session initiation protocol request packet or an SIP response packet(305, 309). The extracted QOS parameter is included in a radio link data resource request. The response about the radio link data resource request is received. The up-link filter value about the new resource is extracted(313, 315). The extracted filter value is added to a packet monitoring list(317).
