A microwave oven is provided to cool component parts effectively by air flow generated by a fan assembly and defined by a barrier element. A microwave oven includes a cavity(100) having a cooling chamber(101), first and second component parts(104) mounted to a surface of the cavity with a distance from each other, a fan assembly(300) mounted to the surface of the cavity where the first and second parts are mounted for generating air to cool the first and second component parts, and a barrier element(420) dividing the generated air flow to guide to the divided air flows to the first and second component parts.
