A reverse C-type bumper beam for a vehicle is provided to stand collision due to a pendulum or a shape barrier in various tests including IIHS or RCAR. A reverse C-type bumper beam for a vehicle is bent toward an opening. The opening is faced to a front bumper cover. The area of a collision holding surface is enlarged by narrowing gap between flanges(134,135) of the bumper beam on a middle part of a length direction. The gap between the flanges is 30mm or less. The gap between the flanges is formed in a shape gradually widening from the middle of the part to both sides. A reinforcement tip extended rearward from each edge of a collision holding surface is installed.
