DETERMINING METHOD OF ALLOWABLE ADDITIONAL WALL LOAD

FIELD: instrument engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention is used for determining allowable additional wall load. Essence of invention consists in the fact that on the investigated object there installed are acoustic sensors thus recording acoustic emission or lack thereof, the object is loaded till acoustic emission appears, then partially unloaded; in case there is no acoustic emission during unloading the load is increased again and those operations are repeated until acoustic emission is fixed at partial unloading; at that, acoustic sensors are installed on some part of the wall located between adjacent openings of one horizontal. Additional load is applied to this part of the wall in neighbouring vertical openings, and allowable additional load on the investigated part of the wall is judged by the load at the moment of acoustic emission loss during unloading. ^ EFFECT: providing the possibility of determining allowable additional load on building or construction wall with non-destructive method in compression conditions by local loading thereof. ^ 1 dwg
