FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine and aims at endoscopic ultrasonic topical diagnostics of tumour in various parts of pancreas head. If scanning of duodenal vertical branch shows tumour of pancreas head, antral part of stomach is additionally scanned. Detected tumour allows considering tumour arrangement within pancreas head being closer to isthmus. In case duodenal inferohorizontal branch scanning shows the same tumour, its head is considered to be arranged closer to hamulus. ^ EFFECT: disclosed technique allows improving accuracy of topical diagnostics for pancreas head tumour not lying in one scanning plane with vascular and ductal reference points. ^ 3 ex
