FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to traumatology and orthopaedics, and involves elimination of external foot dislocation with, using two tipped pins inserted through tibia and fibula within syndesmosis and fixed in a ring of Ilizarov's apparatus. Directly within syndesmosis zone, in frontal plane there are two parallel bone canals formed in tibia and fibula. Therethrough there is a tendon graft provided inwards from the outside through the distal canal and in opposite direction through the proximal canal. Then tibia and fibula are additionally fixed with crossing pins in Ilizarov's apparatus within lower one-third of the shin. ^ EFFECT: method provides improved reliability of syndesmosis fixation with a graft, restored normal functioning of distal tibiofibular syndesmosis ligaments, an elimination of possibility for lateral malleolus fractures. ^ 5 dwg, 1 ex |
