FIELD: engines and pumps. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to engine production. The steam distribution mechanism incorporates the rods pushers and lever mechanism. Steam distribution members represent one-seat round valves fitted in the cylinder covers and driven by radially-and-axially profiled cams fitted on camshafts. Aforesaid valves are arranged to allow their maximum pressing against their seats, while camshafts are fitted to axially move and to allow a quantitative control of the engine. The proposed steam power plant comprises hydraulically coupled steam boiler, double-expansion piston engine, condensation assembly and aforesaid steam distribution mechanism. ^ EFFECT: reduced consumption and increased performances due to reduced losses, optimised control, smaller sizes and weight. ^ 2 cl, 2 dwg |
