FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine and veterinary science. The method involves ultrasonic machining of virus-containing suspensions of various, including avid, tick-borne encephalitis virus strains. The ultrasonic machining is characterised with frequency 22 kHz, duration 1 min and performed three times every two min with an apparatus UZDN-1 or UZDN-A. Method allows improving diagnostic effectiveness of the prepared preparation manifested in increased titres detected in bloods serum of infected antibodies, diagnostic increases of antibody titres in hemagglutination inhibition reaction and reliability of confirmation rate of clinical diagnosis "tick-borne encephalitis" to 33%. ^ EFFECT: invention can be used in making diagnostic preparations and in improving clinical effectiveness of serum diagnostics of tick-borne encephalitis. ^ 2 cl, 4 tbl, 3 ex |
