FIELD: mechanics. ^ SUBSTANCE: heat transfer lab's unit is intended for training in "Heat Transfer" and "Heat engineering". The proposed unit comprises a housing, electric heater, hot air outlet branch pipes. It differs from known designs in that its vertical cylindrical housing is made from brass, and it incorporates inner and outer pipes fitted one into another, heater mounted at its lower part connected with outside wattmetre and LATR. It also has lower and upper air mixers arranged at its top and bottom, lower and upper branch pipes receiving thermocouples. Its upper, pipe is open at its top for air to pass through. Its lower part features tapered shape and is furnished with outlet branch pipe receiving thermocouple. There is a pan with ice and water discharge branch pipe mounted outside the external pipe. ^ EFFECT: higher-efficiency lab's unit, higher accuracy of temperature measurement, simplified design. ^ 2 dwg |
