FIELD: mechanics. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed filter-press comprises, at least, two vertical plates mounted in a row and furnished with appropriate filtration cloth. The plates move horizontally to get into the 1st position whereat they get pressed one upon the other to form a filtration chamber, and into the 2nd position whereat they get separated. Vertical cloth sizes exceed, at least twice as much, those of the aforesaid plates. The cloth is retained with the help of a slider that slides from the upper position, whereat the cloth lower parts are located between the plates, into the lower position whereat the said cloth parts are located below the plates. Pair of deflecting elements is jointed to every plate, right below its bottom edge, the said elements being arranged in a row and feature the total thickness smaller than that of a plate. Aforesaid hollow deflecting elements comprise a pair of parallel horizontal guides and are furnished with the holes, for fluid to be forced there through, located in the area of contact between the cloth and guides. ^ EFFECT: simple and reliable design. ^ 12 cl, 9 dwg |
