FIELD: instrument engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention refers to special optical instrument engineering, and namely to imaging systems, simulators based on helmet display, virtual reality systems, etc. Virtual reality helmet includes two similar channels, each of which includes in-series located, in the direction of light beams, liquid-crystal display and light-fibre screen, as well as a spherical collimating mirror; at that, into each of the above channels there additionally introduced is an optical wedge and a correcting cylindrical aspheric lens, and light-fibre screen is provided with parabolic surface; in addition, to virtual reality helmet there added is a video camera for observing eye position, which is attached to spherical collimating mirror, and correction unit connected to video camera and meant for forming correcting image on the liquid-crystal display. ^ EFFECT: designing virtual reality helmet with one spherical element in front of pilot's eyes, which, when turning spherical mirror relative to horizon observation line, can form a virtual image observed at wide sight angles at entrance pupil of more than 10 mm with minimum spherical aberrations. ^ 2 cl, 4 dwg |
