An oven is provided to easily operate an oven even in a dark place to allow a user to conveniently use the oven and simplify a procedure of using the oven without using an additional lighting device. An oven includes a body, a cavity, and a control panel(140). The body forms the outer shape of the oven. The cavity provides a space in which food is made. The control panel is attached to the front side of the body. The control panel includes an operating part. A user operates the body through the operating part of the control panel to cook. A luminous material is provided to at least the front side of the operating part. The front side of the control panel has a self illuminating function.
