The device has a shading sheet moving between a deployed position and a folded position on a roller. The roller has curved shape and is connected to a support (2) at its ends. An element of the roller is freely rotated around the supports. The roller includes a curved tube (6) fixed with respect to the support and a flexible tube (7) placed around the curved tube, where the tube forms a rotation free element of the roller. The tube (7) is connected with the support by a driving mechanism, where the mechanism has a rod (4) with a skirt (4'') oriented towards the support.
