The system (6) has a U-shaped frame (8) having lateral components (10) that support two rails (11). The rails are displaced with respect to one another along direction of length of the rails. The frame has a rear component (9) and two U-shaped tubular components (12, 13), where the component (12) forms an external outline on a width of the frame and the component (13) supports the rails. The rails comprise support units (16) of a dish or a grid. An independent claim is also included for a cooking apparatus e.g. cooking oven.
