TUBE TYPE TORSION BEAM FOR REAR WHEEL SUSPENSION OF AUTOMOBILE

A tube type torsion beam for a rear wheel suspension of a vehicle is provided to obtain proper rigidity and intensity by controlling cross section and slope of a transition part and forming the shape of the torsion beam into a tube type. A tube type torsion beam for a rear wheel suspension of a vehicle comprises: both end parts being coupled on a trailing arm with forming an enclosed section; a central part forming the opened section of a V shape; and a transition part(340) which connects the both end parts and the central part with changing the section. The section reduction rate from the initial point of the transition part to the center of the transition part is greater than the reduction rate from the center of the transition part to the end point of the transition part.
