The knee mobility system consists of a guide of crescent formation (2), that is stabilized within a frame (1) and lengthwise of which, in a formed groove (3), a foot platform (4) with stabilization straps of the end of the foot (5) slides electrically operated (9), and with pre-selected speed, through a rheostat (8). The transmission of motion to the foot platform (4) is made through a rod-disk with cam (disk 6), rod (7)). The knee mobility system concerns the post-surgical or post-traumatic repair of the knee. The weight, the dimensions, the cost, the potential of use by obese patients and its application from seated position within a frame of closed kinetic chain, in combination with the passive motion constitute the characteristics ofthe structure that solve technical problems of post-surgical repair of the knee. The shift of the foot platform transfers similar motion to the knee joint. The adaptation and the stabilization of the foot on the foot platform and its retrograde motion will transfer the similar motion to the joint of the knee, without the active participation of the user, which is not impossible. |
