The mast has a pivoting system (3) cooperating with a fixed lower part (1) and a movable upper part (2) of the mast, for moving the upper part between a right position in which the upper part is aligned with the lower part, and an inclined position in which the upper part is inclined with respect to the lower part. The system is completely arranged at the interior of the mast in the right position. A movable and/or deformable masking unit i.e. external sliding ring, masks the system, and an adjusting unit i.e. inner tube, adjusts the alignment between the parts in the right position.
