<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate uneven light quantity in a light source device which irradiates an image face of a document by means of a light source in which a plurality of LED elements are linearly arranged in the main scanning direction. <P>SOLUTION: A holding member 72 with a plurality of LED elements L linearly arranged at prescribed pitches P in the main scanning direction, is covered with a light quantity correcting member 73 having a top plate 80 and a pair of side plates 81. A light transmission groove 83, which is long in the main scanning direction, is formed on the top plate 80. Windows parts (nonreflection parts) 84, which correspond to the LED elements L, and reflection parts 85, which correspond to the intermediate parts between two adjacent LED elements L, are formed on the side plates. The windows parts 84 and the reflection parts 85 are repeatedly arranged at a pitch half a predetermined pitch P. Part of the light emitted from the LED elements L irradiates an image face through a reflection surface, and consequently a light quantity at a dark part is increased, and uneven light quantity is suppressed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
