<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for inexpensively manufacturing a conductive rubber roller wherein electrical resistivity of an end part in an axial direction is lower than that of a central part in the axial direction. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the conductive rubber roller having a conductive rubber layer on a shaft core body includes a process of forming a unvulcanized conductive rubber layer consisting of a unvulcanized rubber composition containing conductive particles, on the shaft core body, and a pressing rotating heating process of rotating heating an outer peripheral surface of a unvulcanized rubber roller 26 under pressurization by a pressurizing member 51. The pressing rotating heating process includes at least one process among following (1) to (3). (1) A process of reducing pressurizing load to the unvulcanized conductive rubber layer at an end part in a shaft core body direction than that at a central part in the shaft core body direction. (2) A process of shortening the pressing rotating heating time to the unvulcanized conductive rubber layer at the end part in the shaft core body direction than that at the central part in the shaft core body direction.
