PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiple dwelling house lighting system capable of preventing the failure of letting an external suspicious person specify a dwelling unit when a resident comes home in a multiple dwelling house or the like. SOLUTION: The multiple dwelling house lighting system comprises: a coming-home detection part 4 for generating coming-home information when detecting that the resident of the multiple dwelling house H has come home; a server 5 for outputting a lighting instruction for tentatively lighting respective lighting fixtures 2 with dwelling units absent at present as objects according to the reception of the coming-home information from the coming-home detection part 4; and a lighting control part 32 installed in each dwelling unit 1 for lighting the lighting fixture 2 inside the dwelling unit according to the lighting instruction from the server 5 over the assumption time assumed to be needed after coming-home is detected in the coming-home detection part 4 until the resident enters the house and lights the lighting fixture 2.
