<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber cord to be wired through a door, a sliding door, and a window, which has been difficult conventionally, without impairing their appearance. <P>SOLUTION: This tape-like optical fiber cord having thickness of 1.5 mm or less is constituted by a core wire of hole-assisted fiber having a single core or two cores, plastically deformable metallic wires arranged in parallel on its both sides and having outside diameter or thickness being equal to or larger than that of the core wire of the optical fiber cord, and thermoplastic resin covering them from the outside. A notch for separating the core wire of the optical fiber cord from the metallic wires is formed on at least one face of a surface of the thermoplastic resin at an intermediate position between the core wire and the metallic wires. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
