PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reel type game machine capable of generating ups and downs in the sense of expectancy of a player. SOLUTION: The operation of a disadvantageous condition to the player is executed based on the display of a combination of predetermined symbols. When a combination of special symbols is displayed, the operation of a special state is executed, and an internal winning combination which permits display of the combination of the predetermined symbols is determined at a prescribed probability. When the combination of specific symbols is displayed while the operation of the special state is executed, the operation of a specific state is executed, and the internal winning combination, which permits display of the combination of the predetermined symbols till the operation of the disadvantageous state is executed, is determined at a lower probability than the prescribed probability.
