摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mount at the periphery of an IPD a separate circuit for not causing an overvoltage protective function of the IPD to be operated so as not to make a charging device, which has the IPD for primary side switching control and two or more lithium batteries connected in series, operate the overvoltage protective function of the IPD and, in addition, to mount a Zener diode on an output line as an overvoltage protection part, with regard to a charging device having the IPD for primary side switching control. SOLUTION: When charging two or more lithium batteries connected in series in the charging device, in which the IPD is mounted for primary side switching control and the overvoltage protective function of the IPD is used as the output overvoltage protective function of the charging device, the overvoltage protective function of the IPD is not made to operate. By making the overvoltage protective function of the IPD operate only when an overvoltage occurs at a secondary side output voltage and by performing the overvoltage protective control of the secondary side, the charger capable of solving the above problem can be provided.
