PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve fitting workability, safety and fitting height positional accuracy of a group of over lifting switches. SOLUTION: This over lifting switch device to be fitted to a fixed position of the highest floor and the lowest floor inside a hoistway 1 comprises brackets 21 and 21 projecting from one side of one of guide rails 10, which guide an elevator car, with a predetermined interval, a switch fitting member 22 stretched between the plurality of brackets, a group of over lifting switches 23 fitted to the switch fitting member, maintaining a specific size, and a projector 24 and a light detecting unit 25 provided opposite to the group of over lifting switches and the hoistway 1.
