This spring clip for fixing two components to each other, having the general shape of an "e" and comprising an intermediate portion (5) from which there extend, on the one hand, on one side at least one lateral arm (6) provided with means forming an external tab (8) comprising means in the form of an elastic hook with an intermediate peak resistance, for engaging the clip (1) on the edge of a slot (4) of a first component (2), and with means forming internal tabs (7a, 7b) connected by a plate (9); and on the other hand, on the other side, an arm (12) of the intermediate portion (5), which arm and/or the plate (9) are provided with engagement means (10a, 10b, 10c, 10d, 10e, 10f) for engaging the second component (3) in order to fix this second component (3) to the component (2); is characterized in that the means forming the internal tabs (7a, 7b) comprise portions (7a5, 7b5) that are bent into the inside of the clip in the direction of its intermediate portion (5), in that the other arm (12) is flat, and in that the engagement means (10) of the second component are situated either on this arm (12) or on the portions (7a5, 7b5) of the plate (9), or on both of these.
