NON-VOLATILE LATCH CIRCUIT

A non-volatile latch circuit comprises first and second inverters connected in a cross-coupled configuration so as to hold one-bit data, first and second magnetoresistive elements each having first to third terminals, and a current supply circuit section configured so as to supply, in response to the one bit data, a magnetization reversing current for reversing the magnetization states of the first and second magnetoresistive elements. A power supply terminal of the first inverter is connected to the first terminal of the first magnetoresistive element; a power supply terminal of the second inverter is connected to the first terminal of the second magnetoresistive element. The current supply circuit section is configured so as to supply the magnetization reversing current to the second terminals of the first and second magnetoresistive elements. The third terminals of the first and second magnetoresistive elements are electrically connected to each other.
