<p>The invention relates to a method for determining the values of variographic parameters associated with regionalised data of a domain, said variographic parameters and the regionalised data thereof being used by a variographic process for developing a mapping. The method comprises the following phases: - a main phase for determining the optimal variographic parameters for an area of regionalised data; in order to do so, for each piece of data considered in said regionalised data area, varying the values of the variographic parameters and carrying out a cross-validation process, wherein the cross-validation process comprises retrieving a piece of data Z(x0) from said regionalised data area, and re-estimating by a variographic process the value of the regionalised piece of data thus retrieved: Z*? vai(xo), and determining a combination of the locally optimal variographic parameters according to a predetermined criterion; - and a final phase of estimating said locally optimal variographic parameters at any point of the domain.</p> |
