<p>In a fuel injection valve for an accumulator fuel injection device, the surge pressure caused by the change in injection flow rate between a needle value and a nozzle is reduced or lowered, and deterioration in fuel injection characteristics and decrease in the strength of components of the fuel injection valve caused by the surge pressure are prevented. The fuel injection valve for the accumulator fuel induction device which comprises a nozzle with an injection hole and a needle valve reciprocatingly slidably fitted in the inner periphery of the nozzle and injects high-pressure fuel accumulated in an accumulator from the injection hole of the nozzle into a combustion chamber of an engine by the needle valve being lifted from a seat portion between the needle valve and the nozzle is characterized in that a throttle portion for, when the opening of the seat portion is equal to or smaller than a predetermined opening, throttling the flow rate of the high-pressure fuel flowing toward the seat portion at an opening smaller than the opening of the seat portion is disposed in the needle valve on the upstream side of the seat portion.</p> |
