CALCIUM HYDROGEN PHOSPHATE FINE PARTICLE AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

Disclosed is a calcium hydrogen phosphate fine particle which is excellent in handleability and mixability, while maintaining good moldability. Specifically disclosed is a fine particle of a calcium hydrogen phosphate represented by the following formula: CaHPO4·nH2O (wherein n satisfies 0 = n = 0.5). This calcium hydrogen phosphate fine particle is characterized in that (1) the average secondary particle diameter of the fine particles is not more than 15 µm, and (2) the static bulk specific volume of the fine particles is less than 5 mL/g. Also specifically disclosed is a method for producing such a calcium hydrogen phosphate fine particle.
