<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely suppress, for example, all peak power in a transmitter having a peak level suppressing part for suppressing the peak level of an input signal. <P>SOLUTION: In the peak level suppressing part 1, a level detecting means 11 detects the level of an input signal, a peak level detecting means 12 detects a peak level on the basis of the detected level and a prescribed threshold, a suppression rate acquiring means 13 and 14 uses the detected peak level and the prescribed threshold to acquire two kinds of suppression rates or more for suppressing the peak level, a suppression rate determining means 15 determines one suppression rate on the basis of the acquired two kinds of suppression rates or more, and a suppressing means 16 and 17 uses the determined suppression rate to suppress the peak level of the input signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
