FUEL STEAM PROCESSING DEVICE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent fuel steam from being discharged from a canister to the atmosphere while reducing the operation frequency of an internal combustion engine, with respect to a hybrid automobile using the internal combustion engine and a motor in combination.

SOLUTION: A detecting device which can detect fuel steam being discharged from a first canister 12 to the atmosphere even when the internal combustion engine 100 is in a stop state, is used to start a drive of the internal combustion engine 100 and also start purging when it is detected that the fuel steam is discharged from the first canister 12 to the atmosphere. When the completion of purging of the first canister 12 is detected, the drive of the internal combustion engine 100 is stopped and the purging is also stopped.
