<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optimize an operational force of a hydraulic cylinder to incline an outboard motor in a trim zone, a shallow zone and a tilt zone of the outboard motor, and to save energy by optimizing power supply to a drive motor for a hydraulic pump to lead hydraulic pressure to a hydraulic cylinder. <P>SOLUTION: In an inclination angle control device 15 of an outboard motor having a PPT control unit 16 for controlling the angle of inclination of the outboard motor by one hydraulic cylinder for the trim zone, the shallow zone and the tilt zone to be divided according to the angle of the inclination of the outboard motor, the PPT control unit controls the power supply to a drive motor 20 for driving a hydraulic pump 19 for leading the hydraulic pressure to the hydraulic cylinder based on the angle of inclination of the outboard motor detected by a tilt position sensor 18 when the signal is outputted from a PPT switch 17. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
