<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interrupter which can be made compact and reduced-cost. <P>SOLUTION: In the transmission type interrupter 1 having a light emitting element 13 and a light receiving element 14 embedded in a U-shaped mold member 20, the mold member 20 is formed of a semi-transparent resin material which transmits a part of light and absorbs the rest. Further, recesses 25 and 26 are formed in a region of the mold member 20 which is interposed in a main optical path L. Consequently, the mold member 20 can be fabricated through single-time molding, and optical coupling efficiency of the main optical path L is made higher than that of a peripheral optical path. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
