PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a computer system for preventing the invasion of any computer virus and its control method. SOLUTION: This computer system 11 provided with a CPU 14, a main storage device 13 and auxiliary storage device 12, includes: inventory information 34 created by a function 31 for executing a program, an inventory creation function 32, a copy function 33 and an inventory creation function 32. The function 31 for executing the program, the inventory creation function 32 and the copy function 33 are loaded on the main storage device 13 as a program, and executed by a CPU 14. The inventory information 34 is created in advance by the inventory creation function 32 for all type of files 21 stored in the auxiliary storage device 12, and the copy function 33 stops copying the file which does not correspond to the inventory information 34 to the auxiliary storage device 12 by referring to the inventory information 34 in executing a file.
