PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spotlight capable of movably lighting a high illuminance range on an illuminated surface. SOLUTION: The spotlight 1 includes a main body 4 wherein an opening 2 is covered with a lens 3, a light source 5 arranged in the body 4, a reflecting mirror 6 for emitting light from the lens 3 by reflecting the light emitted from the light source 5, a slide mechanism 7 for making the light source 5 move in the optical axis direction of the lens 3, and a rotary box 8 rotatable to the body 4 by mounting the slide mechanism 7. When a normal of an opening surface of the reflecting mirror 6 and the optical axis of the light source 5 are parallel each other, a slide support 71 moves in the direction equal to the operation direction of a knob 79 for slide if the knob 79 for slide is slid, and the light source 5 moves on the center axis of the reflecting mirror 6. When turning a knob 83 for rotation while the knob 79 for slide is slid to the maximum in the lens-side direction, the rotary box 8 is rotated, and an angle made by the optical axis of the light source 5 and the normal of the opening surface of the reflecting mirror 6 is changed.
