PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a case for electronic equipment formed by coupling and assembling a first case portion and a second case portion into one case, the case being assembled without using screws or a tool and being easy to assemble and large in coupling strength. SOLUTION: Lock levers 4a and 4b are fitted rotatably to two rotary shaft portions 323 formed on an internal surface of the second case portion 32. When a driving knob 33 is slid as shown by an arrow Y 41 or in the opposite direction, a boss 331 of the driving knob 33 is also slid and the lock levers 4a and 4b rotate as the boss 331 is slid, so that engagement claws 41 of both the lock levers engage with engagement claws 311 of the first case portion 31. Thus, the engagement claws 41 engages with the engagement claws 311 to integrally couple and assemble the first case portion 31 and the second case portion 32 into one case.
