PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain a connection strength between a shield cable and a shield connector and reduce the number of components required for a connection and improve a connection workability. SOLUTION: The grasping shield connector assembly kit X is provided with a contact 100, a housing 210, a basic shell 220 and a cover shell 300. The basic shell is provided with a coupling body 22 to be coupled with the housing, an open body 222 which opens toward a higher side in a height direction, and a barrel 223 to be crimped with an inverted end edge or a simple end edge. The cover shell 300 is provided with a cover piece 310 which covers the open body of the basic shell from its open side is to be fixed on the basic shell so that an inner space connecting through the inner space of the coupling body can be formed, and a holding piece 320 to be inserted between a higher portion of an external conductor in the inverted end edge or the simple end edge and an inner cable.
