PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic switch with a heat ray sensor suppressing malfunction caused by an air current flowing through a space in an embedded hole. SOLUTION: A housing 4 includes a body part 41 fixed to a ceiling material with its upward outer surface abutting on the ceiling surface when embedded and a terminal block 42 projecting upward beyond the upward outer surface of the body part 41, having at least one hole into which a wire connected to a wire connecting terminal is inserted and housed in the embedded hole formed in the ceiling surface when embedded. In the housing 4, a partition protrusion 41c protruding toward an inner surface of the housing 4, a light-current substrate 10 with the heat ray sensor TP mounted and a heavy-current substrate 20 with the wire connecting terminal mounted constitute a partition separating the space into which the heat ray sensor TP is housed from an upper space of the body part 41 to block the air current.
