PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance maintainability of a sub-tank, while minimizing atmospheric diffusion of evaporated fuel from an installation part of the sub-tank of an evaporated fuel release restraining device. SOLUTION: For constituting the contour of the sub-tank Ts by joining an upper housing 32 and a lower housing 31, since the upper housing 32 has a flange part 32a for blocking up an upper surface opening part 43a of a main tank Tm, though there is risk of diffusing the evaporated fuel in the atmosphere by passing through the flange part 32a, permeation of the evaporated fuel can be minimized by constituting the upper housing 32 of a synthetic resin having permeability of the evaporate fuel lower than the lower housing 31. Though there is the problem of being generally low in welding reliability in the synthetic resin lower in permeability of the evaporated fuel, since both housings 31 and 32 are detachably engaged in a recess-projection by an engaging claw 31e and an engaging hole 32h without welding, the maintainability can be enhanced while securing reliability of joining both housings 31 and 32.
