PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for receiving magnetic resonance signals always with high detection efficiency by an RF coil of an MRI apparatus even if significant loss is caused in the RF coil, or a test subject is changed. SOLUTION: The RF coil has at least three resonance frequencies, one of the resonance frequencies is a frequency f<SB>A</SB>of a nuclear magnetic resonance signal generated from a test subject, and the coil is adjusted so that the ratio of difference f<SB>A</SB>-f<SB>B</SB>between the frequency f<SB>A</SB>and a first resonance frequency f<SB>B</SB>lower than f<SB>A</SB>and nearest to f<SB>A</SB>among the resonance frequencies, and difference f<SB>C</SB>-f<SB>A</SB>between the frequency f<SB>A</SB>and a second resonance frequency f<SB>C</SB>higher than f<SB>A</SB>and nearest to the frequency f<SB>A</SB>among the resonance frequencies is from 0.5 to 2.0.
