PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for safely realizing fluorination, especially, perfluorination of various organic compounds at a high yield without converting the structure of the hydrocarbon compound material. SOLUTION: In liquid phase fluorination substituting a fluorine atom for a hydrogen atom in a material compound by introducing the material compound and fluorine gas into a solvent, a method for producing fluorine-containing compound, which method comprises dissolving a material compound in hydrofluoric anhydride and introducing into a liquid phase fluorination solvent, is provided, wherein the method for producing fluorine-containing compound, high in yield and containing almost no isomer, performing fluorination reaction without using an expensive perfluorocarbonyl compound as the raw material but using as the raw material a hydrocarbon compound as it is, is provided.
