A bus terminating component comprises a cylindrical housing that is designed to be inserted in a sealed manner into a PG gland. A circuit sits inside the housing. Said circuit is composed of a bus terminating resistor and a cascade of capacitors which are balanced by means of resistors that are connected in parallel such that no relevant power loss occurs on the bus terminating resistor.
