The invention relates to a method for managing the user interface of a mobile terminal (100) associated with a security module (20) including at least one application. According to the invention, the method comprises: the preliminary step of storing in the mobile terminal at least one interface parameter (ADA) in association with an application identifier (TR) and for at least one function of the user's interface (S); and, upon the installation of an interface application associated with an application installed on the security module, the step of receiving an identifier (TR) of said application; the step of associating, based on the received application identifier, a link (C(S5TR) to said at least one parameter (ADA) stored in association with said identifier (TR) and for the corresponding user interface function; and the step of saving in a memory area (BIPl) that can be accessed by the interface application of said association. The invention also relates to a mobile terminal for implementing said method.
