A method for changing the plant morphology is provided to modify the size of plant body, leaf shape and color, and seed size using a BrSRS gene. A method for changing plant morphology is changing plant shape by regulating the polypeptide level in cell. The regulating polypeptide level in cell is increasing the polynucleotide expression coding the polypeptide. The polynucleotide has base of the sequence number 3. The plant is chinese cabbage, sauerkraut, brassica juncea Cosson, brassica campestris, Brassica napobrassica, Brassica rapa, Brassica napus, Brassica oleracea, Brassica caulorapa, Brassica fimbriata, Brassica ruvo, Brassica septi-ceps, Brassica nigra, Cochlearia officinalis, Armoracia lapathifolia, Descurainia pinnata, and Aubrieta deltoidea.
