<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform favorable 3D display of a main object without damaging. <P>SOLUTION: A face detecting section 30 detects a basic object area where the object exists from a first image G1 and a corresponding object area which corresponds to the basic object area from a second image G2, the both images being obtained with imaging sections 21A, 21B. An area setting section 31 defines a basic cutout area containing the basic object area in the first image G1 and a preliminary cutout area containing the corresponding object area in the second image G2. While the preliminary cutout area is moved in the second image G2, a displacement amount between a predetermined object structure contained in the basic cutout area and a predetermined object structure contained in the preliminary cutout area is detected, and a preliminary cutout area at the location where the displacement amount is minimized is set as a corresponding cutout area of the basic cutout area.
