<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell module capable of downsizing and weight reduction while having a storage chamber for an exhaust gas, and capable of facilitating assembling and maintenance as well. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell module FC is provided with a plurality of tubular fuel battery cells 4 and a cover member 1 and a base member 2 for forming a cell chamber 13 to contain the fuel battery cells 4, and the base member 2 is a container for installing the fuel battery cells 4, and a combustion section which burns air and fuel gas flowing inside and outside of the tube of the fuel battery cells 4 and generates an exhaust gas is installed at the upper part of the fuel battery cells 4 rising and installed. The cover member 1 is constructed to cover the fuel battery cells and the combustion section, and a partition plate 23 having flexibility is arranged between the cover member 1 and the base member 2.
